Which Clutch Kit?
for a 150wtq and above, what do u guys use for clutch? entire kit.

my t/o bearing making noise so i am starting to prepare. i have HD ACT pp and ACT street disc without nay issues. 197whp, 146tq

i have also used that same pp with a six puk ACT disc for a short period, then a used it with a genuine disc. so this is my third disc on it. no slipping yet. just wanna see if there are better options. not interested in solid center discs

wanted a findanza 3.2 but they discontinued, i was told by a supplier

of course there are lots of threads here on clutches but nothing remains static so i hope we can get some info on what ppl are using currently.

thanks

i had a gspec stage 3 with the oem b15 disc for the last 5k miles

but the disc randomly decided tto spit the springs out, never launched hard or anything.

felt like a great clutch for those 5k miles but disc really shouldn't have done that so early imo

I got the ACT HD Pressure plate, with 6 Puk Sprung disk (157whp on Q16) you might have to replace the disk almost every year, that has been my case, after the year the springs just fall appart. A lot of launches in the street, but most of them at the track !

I have a VE with B15 tranny and my B15 disk lasted only 3,000 track miles before cracking the case and spring retainers (I cought it before it shattered into its components).

Now I am installing my new Clutchnet disk (looks beefy as hell - at nearly twice the weight):

Wow, why the hell does anyone run sprung disks? Everyone in this thread has had problems with the springs.......

look at clutchmasters. They are cheap and they are fucking awesome.
