Interesting on Motul, I have used Marvels Mystery Oil and that just made things worse, it ate away some gaskets and my car started consuming a great amount of oil...

Diesel can eat away things too, but it's not quite as strong as the other stuff...

Well, I've used the Motul stuff on countless engines without any problems, so I guess it's not too hard on the gaskets, but all were in good condition prior to the treatment, so I wouldn't know about a dated engine. Here's a link:

In my case I have the engine sitting inside the garage, what would you guys suggest be better:
-install it like this and run this chemicals mentioned above or
-put it on a engine stand, take the head and oil pans off and clean it

You can get it at local shops here. Anywhere that sells Motul products can get it for you. Bike shops are usually your best bet (make sure the order the one for cars and not for bikes, though).

Yeah, some parts have some rust on them, although not bad, I am able to take the head and block apart as well as all the head components? What is the best way to go about this and what products do I use?

Should I remove all components (rockers, cams, cam gears, bolts, etc) and bathe them in a solution? what is that solution?

Then use carb/brake parts cleaner to clean-out the head casting, oil galleys, etc? what product do I use?

Pretty much no sludge at all here, just little bio residue from trees, and dog/cat hair rofl as the engine was stored outside with the valve cover only resting on top of it and not tightened down.

Thanks!

here's a update of what I did fathers day with 4 cans of brake cleaner and "GUNK Motor Flush". It still has a little bit in between the springs but it looks a lot better now. The only concern I have now is the valve cover, its impossible to get to the oil galleys and I can tell there is a lot of build up there, I probably end up buying a used but clean RR valve cover.
