JWT usually has their timing set at 15 degrees.

They have set the base idle timing at 25*.

They did that to me and failed to tell me until I asked them why I got shitty gas mileage for a month after I got back the ECU that had a program custom made for me.

You should notice a difference for sure up top, make sure the cam timing is right and you will notice more difference after tuning.

^^^ This. Viperdude referred to the JWT DE ECU base timing map @ 25 degrees, ECU & distributor timing should be at 15 via timing light for optimum performance on any JWT NA tune VE or DE. Try to find a stock VE timing map and compare values to Calum's VE timing map which is I believe the stock SR16 timing map. Might have a few answers to your problem.

JWT could use the base timing increased to 25* for any ecu they wanted to I assume. I only mentioned it because I got effed in the A in that aspect from JWT.

^ yours was the first ecu I had heard of with the base timing at *25.

That is because barely anyone runs JWT C-series camshaft ECU programs. Makes my throttle response "the titties."
