Yeah basically, just get your afr nice and flat. Then from there try to lean it a bit accross the whole map and if it seems to make more power keep going. If not, then try going in the other direction. keep adding fuel until you start to loose power. Its funny how little changes will add up.

Of course if you can still add fuel with out sacrificing power this is a good thing aswell as its safer.. so just play w it until you see exactly what afr ur motor responds best with.

I tune timing to Torque and AFR. From there .Where it ends up HP wise doesnt bother me too much. What it makes is what it makes!

Agreed with this x2. Torque makes HP, so tuning for max torque will get you your max HP automatically. Where in the powerband that HP depends on your setup, of course.

thinking to use 13.5 - 13.7 on WOT then 14.7 on half throttle. is this good?

at least on my car AFR is between 12.8~13.2 at WOT and 14.7~or more, at idle or cruising
