MR20DE 90mm crank?
QR20/QR25 cranks are very similar with SR cranks right? MR20DE was new engine to replace QR family. Just wondering, if MR20DE 90mm crank fit SR block...

Any ideas?

Our rod ratio is already not the greatest.

We would not have enough room in there to use a QR25 crank and get a long enough rod to make it worth it.

Well, in an almost completely random thought:

Honda guy I know used Z32 rods when rebuilding his F series block in his AP1. Wouldn't cut out the possibility of using Honda rods, so long as they can be used.

Bearing journals would be a hurdle.

May be easier to just have a custom rod made.

In any case, using the QR25 100mm crank would take more effort than its really worth.

If the main journals/bore are the same than it will. I think one end of the QR crank is longer than the SR. I think its the pulley side. Not sure what the difference is between the QR & MR crank.

How is it trouble if nobody knows if it's a drop in?

There's a possibility that it drops in, and you can probably get one at the junkyard for 50 already.
