Cheers lads, no harm in getting a price on balancing anyay and go from there.

Just had a look at his thread there, hmmm....

now again from what ive read is that the stiffest out of the set a stock springs is the sr20ve..... and with this spring its safe at 8500.... n the softest [if memory is correct] is the n1.... i dont have a link to this info again tho .... maybe thou u should look into some bc springs

Dont think the head will be an issue at 8500.

I have a powerland ecu that revs to 8800 and some people over here have it set at 9200 no problem in N1's.

I though i read somewhere that piston speed or something like that on a 2.0 are much higher than on a 1.6 so they cannot be reved as high?

i thought he said he wanted lower compression because of bad gasoline where he is at (hence not going with N1 pistons)

EDIT: he already cleared that up again..(posted after the reading the 5th or 6th post in the thread)

I do want lower compression but not to low either. The n1 pistons are too high from what I am told, thats why im going with 20v pistons.

They should hopefully have good compression while still manageable on our fuel in theory...
