Damasterpnut I would set the cam back to zero with the stock cam gears and double check your lash and timing. I'm not 100% on the emange anymore since it's been years since I messed with one. Maybe your friend is running more timing than you are.

I haven't got any cam gears. It' all stock, the famous 10 o'clock and 12 o'clock.
Isn't 'lash' an old fashioned theme and not applicable on a SR20? Or am I missing something due to the language barrier?

The VE uses shims and not a hydorolic lifter like the older SR20DE's. Double check your cam timing then, count the dots between the links after the motor is at BTDC. It looks like your off if they are S3's since your peaking really early.

Ok, I will check, and get the VC off to check. I can put a ratchet onto the crank pulley and turn it until we see the marks, right?
