Cant hit VVL?
Story goes, I was hitting VVl not a bother wednesday night , late enough, parked it up for say 10 hours,

Drove the car, Clutched and braked in 2nd and the car cut out, startred it again,

it was fully warm and went to hitt VVL and nothing?

Car hit the limiter as if it was cold? 6700Rpm?

What fuses should i check or what could be the problem?

I had an rsm wired in recently ( about a week ago) and all the wires look fine, but when it cut out the rsm re set it self?

iv checked fuses and cant see anything wrong?

Did you wire up the speed cut with the RSM to get rid of the 180 limiter? if so, check the wiring for the speed cut and check the setting in the RMS for the speedo pulse setting is correct because it sounds like the ECU isn't getting speedo sensor input.

Well if speed isn't working on the RSM its either a wrong setting, because its hooked to the wrong wire, or the ECU isn't getting speed from the dash, so either way, that's your issue that you need to resolve.

Wiring goes from speedo sensor through the loom on the back of the motor to multi-plug junction near the coolant overflow, through the harness into the car to the dashboard, then dash to the ECU. So if the dash is working for speed, there is a wiring issue between the dash and the ECU. Using consult you can check and confirm if the ECU is/isn't seeing speed, and that will confirm the issue 100%.

But the car was running 100% for over a week with no speed wire? I just gessed he added to the wrong one or didnt do it?

I went and got diagnostics done today and came back with a fault on

TCM SWITCH SIGNALS??

Taught it was a throttle body sensor but changed it and nointhg?

What ECU are you using ? Are you using the stock SR16VE ECU or are you using an SR20VE (or the stock SR16VE) ECU with a daughterboard ?

Its strange that it was working before and has suddenly stopped working, but maybe the resetting of the RSM has something to do with the problem? Did you use the diagnostic tool to check and make sure that the ECU is reading speed correctly ?

TCM Switch Signals sounds like Transmission Control Module switch signals.

Maybe your neutral switch is playing up ? If the ECU thinks the car is in neutral it will apply a lower rev limiter too i believe.
