Thread: Fugi vs Impul vs Modded SSAC

We all know the Fugi is good

I now have SSAC with longer and bigger diameter secondaries on my sr20ve

Now I am getting an Impul sr20ve header that came on a sr20ve from Japan (used parts). I plan to to modify the secondaries as well

Was at 186whp with my sr16ve cams, calum basic and 3" exhaust.

Installed n1 cams recently but have not yet tuned.

Your thoughts on the Impul Header?

i have an impul manifold on my sr16ve, didnt realise what it was till a couple of weeks ago when i took it off to get a tiny blow in it sorted. its the same as the one in the above link so would it have been modded to fit my sr16ve or do they bolt on?

i have well had that impul header it works great very responsive

The impul looks exactly like my maxim works one, picked a fuji up today and the secondarys are much longer, ill get some pictures tomorrow.

The pics in that link are not of an sr20 header. Bolt pattern and design are completely different from their ve header.

but if i get the impul, i would extend the secondaries and use the collector from my modded ssac

i know what the fugi looks like and have seen an actual one

the comparison is really between getting the impul and modify it vs the modded ssac I now have. i just throw the fugi in the mix for comparative performance
