Yup. The k24s were not making 300whp off the bat.

Only a few years ago was it thought of a great accomplishment to hit 270-280s on a street/pump k

Pretty much, It wasnt until about 3 years ago that people finally broke into the 10s and then now one has hit 9's and many others are knocking on the door.

Before 3 years ago, a good all motor car would be running mid to low 11's. So yeah. Not too bad.

Those "3 people" paid so much because they were the r&d for the build. Im sure the first 3 people to build a K series to that extent didn't pay exponentially more than the current people doing the work. I bet it was exactly the same price. Or not.

Most likely not.

I hope to have my 88mm done by the end of the month. Not expecting too much for now with what i have. Next year i will have an intake and header made for the motor and hopefully see some decent numbers.

We need to stop comparing these motors. I don't like Hondas at all but you have to give respect when it's due. Honda stepped to the plate and made some good motors and that's why they are so successful. I drive a Nissan and will try to get the best out of it.

That being said " Hondas can kiss my a$$"

I was/am working on it.

edit:
I've cleaned up what I see as blatant argumentative/battle posts. If you PM me a post number I will also look at it. I will be watching this thread for future posts.

The K is an excellent motor. Well rounded in many ways.

I just hate down talk when people go by what they read in a magazine.

The numbers don't lie. It will make similar power with equal flow/mods.

Just like the up coming h series, straight animals. Low supporting mods hut give it a year or two and it will be the next k sweeper. Its all about support on demand. Jackson racing has some beastly setups for the k, I'm pretty sure they got something cooking for the h series also.
