its for a 2.45L VE and it will work just fine.

wouldn't a 88mm bored out motor with longer custom rods(thus creating longer stroke) and custom piston with higher pin height create even more displacement with the 88mm build...jw my buddy and i were talking about this last night

With longer rods you are loosing volume, you need a longer stroke as in crank. Stock rods will do just fine.

Longer rods do not change stroke... it will give you a better rs ratio however, but you would need to add either a deck plate or custom piston w higher pin hieght.

i have a best motoring video where they do this with a s2000 motor and compare a stock one against the modded one.. results are awesome!
