If ur spending all that money though why not get a sleeve. Also as far as valves its really not needed past a certain hp ammount, say the 300whp range. There are plenty of ves that have made 250-280whp on a basically stock head and valves.
What is the lift and duration of the cams.

Believe it or not its not costing much to do this build on a standard sleeve. I don't pay anything for the block machining or fab work. Besides we already have a big bore VE in the family. Makes no sense for me to do the same thing.
The point of the valves were not to go oversized but to rather have a flat faced valve. Not to mention relieving weight from the valvetrain.
Don't know if I'm allowed to give out much more info on the cams but I will ask first.
