How much were they? Custom?

Id have to say custom as the last time i looked the only 88mm ve piston they made was a 9:1 compression. Looks good and id imagine they would be around $600 for the set.

88mm SR's ftw. These should put up relatively good numbers for relatively cheap.

Wasn't there a member on here who had an 88mm bore motor before?

I love the fact that there is so much different allmotor ve projects going on around here.

^I would like to know this as well.

After my "incident" at the 2009 convention I had my block bored to 88mm and I've been running it boosted (12.5-16psi depending on the moment, 8.8:1 cr) for over a year now with no issues. Not sure if that lends any help to the quesiton, but just food for thought.

I think it all comes down to tuning without DETONATION....
I am sure that a 88mm motor will handle 200hp direct foger shot with 13:1 cr of course using some C16 and the correct timing without any issues.... ..

Of course its gonna make good power, regardless of it being a 88.
