The rest looks good.

If ur spending all that money though why not get a sleeve. Also as far as valves its really not needed past a certain hp ammount, say the 300whp range. There are plenty of ves that have made 250-280whp on a basically stock head and valves.

What is the lift and duration of the cams.

Ill be watching this build.

Stratton.

Believe it or not its not costing much to do this build on a standard sleeve. I don't pay anything for the block machining or fab work. Besides we already have a big bore VE in the family. Makes no sense for me to do the same thing.

The point of the valves were not to go oversized but to rather have a flat faced valve. Not to mention relieving weight from the valvetrain.

Don't know if I'm allowed to give out much more info on the cams but I will ask first.

Gotcha on the valves.

If ur not paying for the machine work nor the fab in the cc then go for it.

In the end you stand to loose nothing and can only gain.

Who is ur brother ?

My younger brother is Jamie M.(Sr20gtir)

My dad is on the boards now too. He is currently building a 78' VE powered mini cooper.
