why even bother.

stratton.

With what I have witnessed first hand I will say we will be knocking on that door very soon.

Stratton, I wouldnt say that. My high comp motor was making some local K cars break some mean sweats trying to catch up. I don't know what everyone else is doing but I know for a fact my car was fuckin dreams up and will only hurt feelings that much more. Keep your eyes peeled for a red big bore classic -vs- a K24 built hatch video very soon.

It always comes down to parts available.

Once the playing field gets even and knowledge is spread, it will be a whole new ball game.

Mod for Mod we are only 15-20whp away from K's with the same mods. The cam will be the big story teller.

Lol.

Ok, so now u hit 11.6 so that makes 3 people ever to hit 11s allmotor Sick by the way. Sleeved stroked etc, fully built to the balls motors. theres k24s doing that with, just a piston, not just 3 but thousands world wide

But you know this.

K is king.

Think of Keiths K25 J. He recently made ~303whp on e85. Tuned over at Xenocron. I can guarantee it is no cheap build either. We really are not far off especially with the bullshit we have for cams. Our IM/header's can only flow air through the motors so much.

K24's don't need sleeves as they are naturally larger motors with taller blocks.

In theory these SR's are simple piston/rod motor builds. The same power can be had with the 2.3 without the crank. So taking out the price of sleeving, what makes any of these builds that amazing? The only reason costs are up is because most bolt on's are one-off's.

Type S swaps average $4-5000, so dollar for dollar I don't see much difference.
