Thread: N1 cams and pistons

Is anyone running N1 cams and pistons? if so what numbers are you putting up? What other "goodies" are you running with them?

I'm running just the N1 pistons with sr16 non-n1 cams, 197whp&154tq 93oct

I ran sr16 pistons with deeper valve notches, so very very simmialr to the n1 pistons along with n1 cams and made 218whp. And dynoed just before installing the pistons at 212whp stock long block...

And I am assuming on 93 oct?

Yeah it was. I edited the post. The 205 was stock motor w n1 cams and header on stock intake mani.

This was with the Custom IM right? Did the torque go up with the pistons?

Yeah both of these were with the manifold.. the tq stayed almost the same. If I remember right I maybe gained like 1-2 ftlbs.

And the motor would have made more power aswell, but I never fully dialed in the cam timing.. iirc these were at 3/5

I had a question I have a VVL motor and wanted to know if with the pistons is their work that had to be done to the head or can the N1 cams and piston just be put in?
