'96 Sentra GA to SR20VE Swap
So I am almost ready to order parts to do my swap, is everything that I will need covered here? JGYCustoms.com - SE-R/G20/NX 1.6 to 2 liter conversion other than the engine? This is the only car I have right now and need it on the road, is this something I can get done in a weekend so that I am not without transportation?

Thanks in advanced!

- My advice, since you actually had to ask this question, buy a second car and do not do this to your only car you have to drive. This would be a bad idea.

Gotcha, the more research I did the more I realized, despite my mechanic friends opinions, this is most likely going to be more than just a weekend swap, is it a cheaper route to buy an R20DE and try to get my hands on an R20VE head and do the swap that way or would it be better just to have an R20VE shipped? And just to confirm, stock 200sx se-r's tranny's will mount up correct? I came across an NX2000 with an R20ve swap and they put a clutch in from a '01 SR20 stating the clutch was built better overall? If you guys could confirm my parts list for a full running swap that would be great too:

-SR20VE Engine
-SR20 Tranny
-If the '01 clutches were actually better I'd go with that for a clutch or order a new one
-200sx se-r engine mounts
-200sx se-r ECU
-Apexi SAFC II (for tune and to engage VVL)
-200sx se-r radiator
-Engine accessories (alternator, PS, Water pump, etc. as well as belts)
-For the RPM switches to actually engage the cams, didn't know the best route to go so I thought i'd ask on that
-heater/coolant lines

Some other little stuff that I am sure I am missing but just wanted to cover the major stuff...

This is all the hardware you'll need to install the 2 liter engine in your engine bay.
Bracket that bolts on to engine block.

Top engine mount, bolts on to above bracket.

Gearbox mount & bracket

Gearbox mount & bracket, yes there are two options.

Rear gearbox bracket.

Clutch pedal & clutch cable.

Manual brake pedal.

Manual cross member with mounts.

Left side LSD axle.

Right side axle, 2 options, single piece, or 2 piece.

Manual shifter.

For the wiring harness, if i get a wiring harness from a 200sx se-r thats in the junkyard would that be ok to use for the swap? I would just have to modify the interior harness for the gauges, climate control, windows, power locks etc.

you MIGHT be able to do it in a weekend IF you assemble EVERYTHING you can before it goes in the car in the weekends leading up to the swap..ex: engine/clutch/tranny/harness/other wiring/etc..

but ask your mom if you can drive her car for a week if you dont get everything done..lol

or just buy a $500 beater to beat on for a week or 2..then get rid of it..

Ive never herd of anyone using the 1 piece passenger side axle...also, you might be better off getting the 97 sentra se interior harness so you have the rear o2 harness as well.

The single piece axle in the pic is actually the JDM Pulsar VZ-R right side axle.
