Worth removing my SR20De?
ok this might be a dumb question however i would like some oppinions. i have a 93 SE-R sentra with the SR20DE and i was wondering if the VE is a better motor for the car. any responses would be appreciated

Once you go VE, you won't look back. Lots of fun. Easy to have a 13 second daily driver. Only way you might go back to DE is if you blow the VE and can't afford to fix it and have the DE laying there lol.

haha ok sounds good....do you still have your ve for sale? cuz i am really interested in buying it cuz i am getting beat by single cam hondas and its pissing me off haha

obviously a dumb question to make here in the VVL forum...lol kidding! everybody here loves VE and like nismo94tuner said you will never look back! only if the only way to solve is a DE laying around!

ok all thank you for your responses, i am def going to get the VE, now could anyone possibly give me a small list of performance mods to do to it to possibly have a very nasty N/A car because i personally am not a fan of boost

Good clutch, Tires, N1 Camshaft, 3inch catback, and TUNE!

ok...what tires do you recommend i am looking at the toyo proxy 4...i get them at a real good price due to where i work but i am willing to learn to find out what tires you all run to see your oppinions. i have a 4 puk clutch with a 6lb flywheel however i do not like the way it slams my car when i am racing...any ideas?

As for a clutch I use an ACT heavy duty plate and a full face sprung disc feels great...you will also need a MSD to activate the VVL.



What's done to your DE out of coursity?
