I used the Granatelli dual window switch without a problem..

The instructions are confusing at first.

Off the solenoids there are the two positive wires that "Y" into a single brown wire, make sure this goes to a constant 12V

The window switch provides a groud to the solenoids to activate.
I got the RPM signal from the back of the guage cluster, and the hooked up the (+,-) for the switch itself from my stereo.

You should only have a total of 5 wires off the granatelli wired up.
2 - Ground signal to the solenoids (purple wire and blue wire)
1 - 12v, for the switch itself
1 - ground for the switch itself
1 - RPM input to the granatelli switch .

On the RPM input if the source is 12v or less -- ex. off the back of the cluster, you use a yellow wire (Im not too sure if its yellow or white but the instructions tell you)

if the RPM source is more than 12V ex. ignition coil use the other wire (once again the instructions specify the color of the wire.)

for 90 bucks you cant beat this device! better than a big ass box in my engine compartment, and you dont have to buy pills to change the settings, + you can activate each solenoid independently and have them shut off at whatever RPM you want ( I had mine off at 9k)

Thnx for the heads up, in fact another member of this comunity have been helping me with the device since my instruction sheet tells a whole diferent story.

I already did a few things to my engine such as

- Laboratory cleaned injectors
- Vacuum hoses replaced
- Coolant hoses replaced
- Cleaned up IACV and replaced hose
- Cleaned up the whole intake manifold
- Cleaned up the solenoids
- Replaced the thermostat
- Replaced the back oil seal

I'm in the proccess of porting the header since isn't fitting right away.

Expecting to land the engine this Saturday, by the afternoon I'll keep an update with some pics

Well here are some pics I snapped today, I started sanding the valve cover and I'm almost done, the pic shown is only a work in proccess. The pearl lime powdercoated DE VC is just sitting as long as I finish the VE VC. I will be sending the VC to the powdercoating shop to get it teal or the same pearl lime.

The stuff, SR16VE flywheel, Fidanza Clutch, eBay wrapped header 2.5"

3" intake, Gspec V1 crank pulley (water pulley already in pump), N60 MAF, flowstack and filter

2.5" mandrel bent stuff, 2 Magnaflow resonator and the Magnaflow 2.5 internal core muffler

Well I got out the Lowport by Friday and I got the VE in yesterday

Today I just hooked up the whole sensors and stuff, I got a free hanging ARV and an EGR connector, is that OK if I just get a resistor into it for avoid the CEL

I connected the old intake rubber pipe but will be replacing it soon, at the moment of crank it the VE started just at the first attempt.

Just one lil issue, even when the coolant hoses and fans are set, the car was pushing the temp needle just over the half, I pulled over and double check everything, then the issue disappear

I think that would be an stucked thermostat, maybe I over applied silicone.

I also got the tranny welded from the axle housing, got 4 quarts of API GL4 Nissan oil also

Stay tuned for pics
