Yeah for sure. Get a true tunable ecu, you should have no issues running 12.5:1 cr with 99oct. Over here we are doing it on 92oct zero det issues. Its all in a good tune.

iv got a full de wiring loom and ecu sat here i can get a daughter board added to and wire up some VVL solenoid wires and get back on the dyno at the start of the new year.. it will just be finding cams..

dude, that was when i ws at the first dyno session on 97ron lol, my own dumbass fault but with 99ron there's hardly any. I'm almost certain the special 'booster' i am using is doin pretty much F.A


mine are switchin together vtec styleee atm for one reason or another but they are both switchin as high as 6400 and the low lobes don't seem to be dropping off.

I'd say the cams might be iffy, but the +5,-5 might not help and the switch points might be a little low?

having said that not low enough for a 20hp dip. The lack of cam switch noise is what shows something s up, you have similar header/system to me, well spec in general - and my cam switch is like satan banging down your door!

The only header I have had that liked +5-2.5 o a stock motor and I say did well was with the stillen header with a modified secondary piece I did that stepped up. Everyother header used little overlap and not from the intake cam.but get a good tune and some real n1 and you'll be business, keep the header dont get rid of it I likes it

not gona touch the header.. just the cams.. and the tune ill hit you up in the new year about cams, i think i may have some but im not making any moves till after xmas as thats sucks up all spare cash this time of year!

my motor isnt stock though its 2.0 with n1 pistons uncut..

N1's were ground from factory to be set for 0.0...try them.

SR20GTI-R is on the money.

My 16cams love being at 0.0
