Reliability is a big issue when it comes to the sleeved big bore builds. I think decent power can still be had with a 88mm bore but that would be my limit anyway. Amazingly Cory's build is still reliable even on E85 so it can be done. When Strat tears it down the issue that caused the failure will be taken care of and anyone who still wants to pursue the sleeved, high RPM big bore build will learn from his misfortune and everyone will be better for it. NA is risky business when the high hp stakes are raised but we can't be afraid to fail when we can succeed. Strat will succeed just like Cory and a few others have. He's that focused.

Because he test stuff n share it and run his time to back things up but sometime things just dont work like what we expect to so it happens.

yeah the thing with mazworx, is if you pay for the complete sleeved block, main line hone and boring, you get a warranty to go along with it. I dont know why sleeving our blocks is proving to be so difficult. But again exactly why I chose not to sleeve a block. That and the factory block can attain my goals.

Hopefully you figure it out Stat, again dont give up, There are several on there that have had good reliability soo far with their 2.4's so its possible man, just a matter of making sure everything is covered and good to go. Good luck man.

Yes some of the earlier Mazworx blocks have failed like mikos old one but they have since revised their procedure and have not had any drop. 9k and 2.4 block is fine. Piston speeds are really getting up there but it wont cause this.

After 40 pages I just wish we could at least see a graph.
