Yes take a break. Maybe down the road you can just put a simple ve in it and enjoy the car for a while.

I hear the sayin, go big or go home get thrown around alot. I rather not go big then have to leave my car at home.

Props for the awsome build. I'm sure you will come back.

I agree with this, roll the car to the back of the shop and forget about it for a while. Come back when you feel like it is time. The last few months for me have been tough financially and I am having life changes, nothing health related or anything.

I now have the desire to push and finish my car. A hiatus is sometimes the best thing, you get to sit back and look from the outside in. Then you can come back fresh and 10X as hard then being burned out and tired and just wanting to finish.

thats rod #3.

it made 260 and change whp peak at 8500rpm and it held it pretty strong till 9k were the revlimiter was set at. we changed the gears a bunch of times and it didnt like that either, lost power, it only like the cams at 0 0. looking back on those numbers there was something clearly wrong that showed its self on the way home. although on the dyno there wasnt a hit of a problem, nor when i drove it around with the tuner to get some low rpm driveability right on the street. we also couldnt get the engine/water temp up past 150 on the dyno, the e85 was making it run too cool wich deff killed power.

i must say the few times on the high way that i did some 3rd gear pulls it pulled like an animal. left a 200sx with n1's and a 4:1 header like it had dropped an anchor.

i didnt really get to hammer the car at all. but the 3rd and 4th gear pulls past 5k were insane, it just kept pulling like a beast.

itll get fixed.

Wow!! Hopefully when it went, it went quickly...rather than if it had been slowly killing itself over the last week or so. That sucks though for sure!

Sorry to hear. But on the bright side, if there is one, 26X WHP on a motor that wasn't running quite right indicates that maybe 3XX whp is ready to be had down the road!

I'm sure with all of these experiences, if you stick with it down the road, you will reach your goals. Whatever they are!
