I said it before though, the car is so well balanced and even babying it feels great. At 9500 on the high lobe is gonna be another story. It feels like a mptorcycle engine, so responsive and alive. Nothing was skimped on, the best parts money can buy are in this thing. Im excited for myself and my community to see and show what a all out 2.4 can do.

I WILL NEVER GO TURBO AGIAN. (on anything)

numbers and a nyceones dyno vid soon !

Stratton.

If she makes more than you planned it's gonna be really hard to part with her since you are now a NA convert. Sounds like you haven't been this excited about your ride since you got it, that speaks volumes about a big bore 2.4L VE build.

I know what you mean about never going turbo again after feeling what a real, all out all motor build feels like. You haven't even gotten to feel what it can really do and you still love it. Especially on a fwd, if you have the money, n/a is much more fun. The budget minded people can still own a fast fwd car with some boost but if you have the $, you made the best choice. It will be much more streetable than your turbo setup. What transmission are you running in it now? I wouldn't rule out never doing a turbo build again since if you switch to an awd or rwd platform it is a whole different story. I really think that you will never part with your nx now I don't see how you could after you have gone this far. It is a great feeling to whoop on turbo cars & v8's with a n/a 4cyl. It is just such a great feeling when you tell people you are n/a after they stop to find out what the hell just whooped their ass. It shows what attention to detail and knowledge can do given that the money is there to do it. I can't wait to see what it puts down for numbers. I predict that you will put down more to the wheels than an all motor vq build with less torque of course. Just take your time and do it right, which it seems like you are this time. Cross all your t's and dot your i's then go whoop some ass!

I would imagine it feels simalar to Wes's 1.6 gt28rs. Ask anyone who's been in his car that it didn't feel like a boosted car. It felt like an all motor car.

Yeah a disco potato setup feels almost like an n/a car but with more torque. Maybe on the 1.6 the torque was lower and felt more like an n/a car. I never rode in a 1.6 with a disco but on an sr20 in was tire spin city.

For street use on a 2 liter I believe the gti-r with external gate or a 2871r are the best choices. The difference between the two is of course what budget you have to work with. Personally I like the gti-r t28 with external gate but if you need more power than that the 2871r will be the best choice. Now back on topic, sorry for the off topic posts strat. Get that bitch tuned and go rape some turbo cars and v8's.

When my transmission goes, the 2871r is what I will go with. For now the hybrid t25/t28 will do.

Yes back on topic
