So, all of this talk, is the G Spec crank pulley not balanced? Is it version 1 or version 2 or both? If you guys do not think so, where's the pudding at? I am hungry.

There are different thoughts on this. Our motors are internally balanced. Hence we do not have a harmonic ballancer on the crank... but idk what these ati pulleys are all about.

So why run a stock pulley that has the ability to slip (by tight belts or old age) and weighs more compared to an all-metal pulley that cannot slip timing unless the bolts break right off and weighs less than half the weight?

This makes little sense to me. I see a lot of people with good itme building engines saying nah on the crank pulley, yet no real reason determined. Therefore, where's the beef?

I blame mt second sr20s death to ur pulleys, since then I never ran them.

lol... don't hate me! I blamed every single part I put on that thing... I blamed my gtir turbos a year ago or so and sold them off too to vadim and nathan they made awesome numbers with them and i felt salty as fauk. Call me skeptical, but when i go back to stock i never have probs, lol.
