N/A is just more fun for daily driving.

That's hilarious. You're vvl setup was crazy dope.

I realize your boosted rig will be ridiculous but c'mon man!

On track aswell. Especially when driving a FWD.

Yeah on a track with a boosted car especially one with good response your gonna just rip the tires apart in corners and slide right off the course. Then if you have a laggy turbo setup you still get beat by the n/a setups in the corners and all you have is the straight aways. N/A fwd cars for road course are really the way to go. They have nice smooth powerbands and are very predictable. Boost, its just for all out tire blowing fun. haha

^^^ True. Road course N/A FWD for the win. My son fried a piston on his 91 240 S13DET during a NASA road racing weekend. He said the straights were awesome but waiting for the turbo to build boost in the corners and carousel was frustrating as hell, even on his stock setup. He upped the boost on his stock exhaust setup on track day and later that day blew out #1 spark plug, cracked the ceramic on #4. Happened on the straight. The turbos and large N/A setups smoke me on the straights but in the twisties my FWD DE is definitely holding it's own and is a blast to drive.

and people question my love for N/A ... i've always been skerred of lag and not to mention the maintenance associated with a non-factory turbo... natural power FTW

Considering the weight of your car I think your withdrawls won't be that bad. I think you are going to miss the sound of the car more than anything.

Yeah the hollow look of the spot where an inter-cooler was... not great but in this case there's the color to consider and since its original (?)... if you spray another lower lip it will probably show in 2-3 years when the colors fade a bit. Maybe some carbon fiber ducts or something to give that space a purpose?

I love the turbo sound but I'll probably do another vvl project next which may(read will) end up boosted.

Me too, in each thread that I see boto of us being ostracized, it is so funny. The snail lovers chase use around and laugh at us, it's cute, sometimes.

NA is fun and reliable, but 325whp-ish with a quick charging turbo and sticky tires is hella fun
I've thinking about getting a bigger turbo and shoot for 400whp, but a quick spooling turbo is too much fun

A VE build like yours would be amazing but I couldn't afford it
