just found out its going to take a week more then expected.

itll be a fully custom sleeve with a bigger od. so with that being said i guess its worth the wait. the machinest said it will be a stronger block.

What sleeve is he using, Darton?

hes has and has done 90mm sleeves on sr20's but feels the walls are to thin for a 92mm bore. he said hes going to make a sleeve with the same id but with a bigger od, he said this will make for a stronger more reliable motor. everything is done in house from r&d to making the sleeves to the machine work.

so custom sleeves, bore, hone, deck+timing cover and boil/clean the block. im sure it will be worth the extra week it will take. plus for the work they charge half the price as mazworx, cant beat that.

There is absolutely no need for a custom sleeve.

AEBS makes a sleeve with a huge OD. Almost double the size of the Darton sleeve.

They are about $75-$100 more than the Darton.
