so i got this block.
VE pistons
DET rods
20V head gasket
8cw crankshaft
girdle
acl bearings
lightweight flywheel

my question is. how much whp would i see with a VE head with N1 cams, ASP budget header, and a 100 shot "only if you guys think this block could handle spray"

a little less than a VE motor with the same mods with 4 cwc and standard VE rods minus girdle.

I wouls say 7-9 WHP less because the girdle eats up about 5-7 WHP

yeah. I figured it would be a little less. but i also figured the bottom end would be a lot stronger.

so im guessing that the way the internals are now, i shouldnt run into any problem with a 75-100shot of spray

You should be fine.. your rods are stronger then std ve rods as long as your afr and timing are set correctly. I would assume you will be about 280whp with the 100 shot.
