They are different.

Id run de or det rods on a n/a ve build.

NOOOOOO! DE AND VE RODS ARE THE SAME. I have pulled apart god knows how many vvl motors since 2004 and all VVL rods are the same as the DE rods, I have put together many motors with de/ve mix rods.

all The turbo rods are the thicker ones

and the tooth picks of them all are the sr16 rods.

I cant remember what the outcome was when I weighed DE/VE rods years ago. I thought there was a difference. Ill take your word for it.

The only turbo rod that is thicker is the GTI-R.
