Thread: Ve Cold Start?

Hey Guys, I need help!!

My VE swap has been giving me SERIOUS issues with cold start. The problem is only when I let the car sit for about 5-8+ hours, it will literally take 3 minutes to get the car to start. When I get into the car and turn the key the pump does prime, and if I try to start the car and pump the gas it doesnt help. I have to just keep hitting the key and eventually it starts.

The setup in the car is
Wally 255
G20ECU (for now)

And thats all that would really matter for this issue. Anyone have this issue before? What on a VE regulates cold start, I think my check engine light bulb is dead so maybe it could be a sensor?

Any suggestions?

#3 Check for leaking injectors

So the plugs are NGKs Gapped @ 34

This morning I cycled the key a bunch and tried smelling for gas around the injectors and nothing?

Anyother syggestions my boy had a VE with a g20 computer and his doesn't have a cold start issue. But I know it's not helping.

If you have the VE tb, there is a cold start adjustment on it

I'm not having starting issues but @ cold start my car idles @ 2k rpm for like almost 2 minutes then idles normally when it's warm. It only does this in the morning and not throughout the day. I tried clicking the link but I get a blank page. I've had this ve in my b14 for about 3 weeks and now I'm wondering what it could be?

2000 is a little high,but it normal for the VE to idle high when its cold,as the link will confirm.
