I am currently using Deatchwerks 370cc Injectors with an N1 Head, Modified N1 Pistons, stroked to a 2,0, Compression is calculated to around 12.5:1 and has no issues, I run light throttle 14:1 AFR and 12:1 AFR WOT, Engine has done around 10k miles since engine rebuild. Got real smooth power delivery and good drivability, I still to get a proper dyno map done, and get a decent header,

Try Fujitsubo header? @TheStigP11GT

The same setup with stock plenum and q45 TB, will add 6 whp, 198 whp.

We built a SR16VE stroked up to SR20VE.
Engine CR was indeed 12.5:1 (see this post).
We used N1 CAMS, Q45 throttle Body on the stock intake manifold (You need to cut it, modify it and weld a new flange) and a JDM exhaust header (unknown brand, it just has the JASMA certification logo)

Car made 206whp, but on the last 500 rpm (rev limiter at 8500 rpm) power goes quickly down. I pretty sure that the problem is indeed the intake manifold. (lots of power here)

We also built a stock internals SR20VE, with stock CR, using a Xcesive Plenum, Q45 throttle Body, Ported P12 Header, 3" catback and N1 cams, car made 214.5 whp with the rev limiter set to 9000 rpm. (See video here

So, CR add like 8-15 whp on the powerband (8 whp at the peak), Xcesive Plenum and P12 PORTED HEADER add amazing 15 whp peak power and 500 rpms more of powerband (still N1 CAMS).

My guess for that setup (SR20VE, 12.5:1 CR, XCESIVE PLENUM, SUPERTECH VALVE SPRINGS, Q45 TB, P12 PORTED HEADER, 3" CATBACK, 3.5" WAI with a good cold air box, Q45 MAF, NISTUNE/NISMOTRONIC/HALTECH (NO MAF for this one) and proper tuning) will be something between 220whp and 230 whp

Which will be nice!

Hey, i just dynoed my sr20ve with n1 cams and it lost power when compared to the SR16 cams. DAFUQ?
They are at 0,0. However, I didnt have time to degree them properly.
Im running CP 12.5 pistons with 12.8:1 CR and 98RON gas. Max power is at 24 degrees. I think im not reaching MBT because of the shitty gas.
Also max hp is at 8500rpm...

Thats pretty accurate. add a nice 4-1 header, straight pipe cat delete, supertech valve springs, and you could be in the low 200's

My stock bottom end VE dynoed a best of 210WHP w: N1 cams, ST valve springs, JMR header, 3" exhaust w/ Magnaflow muffler (straight thru), no cat, G-spec water pump and crank pulleys, P/S delete (manual Sentra E rack swapped in with Gspec idler pulley), custom CAI, thermal intake spacers, Fidanza flywheel, N60 MAF, Marsh tuned ECU, and VVL activ. set just about 5200RPM (seemed to run the best at that RPM). Throttle body was going to be my next mod, but I had to move and sold the car.

Surprisingly, the CAI appeared to make a nice difference. My trap speed increased by about 3MPH and the car felt quicker. This was my actual motor and how I had the CAI set up FWIW, I just got a bunch of piping parts from Autozone, they are like $6 a piece. The air filter is just out of sight

im no tuner (at all) but you should be around 29-30 degrees at max power. something is not right.

It's the gas that's why he is limited to 24deg.

When I ran sr16 pistons in my car I was also limited to 24 degrees of timing. In Cali we only have 91mon/ron pump gas+ the desert heat where I live it was not fun.

im in lima, peru. Same 98ron but might be shittier quality.
With e80+ i can run happily 30-31 degrees with a few extra horses
