VZR gearbox problems
right i have a VZR gearbox i have the correct short side shaft and have tried 2 different longer shafts but they just wont fit in..

sliding the longer shaft in it comes to a complete metal on metal stop with about 5mm left to go in.. no amount of pushing will get it to that last bit.. i tried 2 different loinger shafts but there both the same.. i know its only a tiny bit left as the locator dowls on the bering carrier are so close to sloting into place..

anyone had any similar problems.. pr could think of any reasson thatwould stop drive shafts fitting check balls circlips anything?

its as if the shaft is hitting the middle bar...

Because if you just have a gap about half inch that does not goes in, its normal.

the shaft goes in then comes to a stop with about 5mm left for it to be fully in..

theres a little bump on the axle where it Looks like it would seat flush with the axle seal but i've often found that it doesnt.. i would guess that 5mm sounds about right if thats the case.. i had no problems putting stock se-r axles in a vzr tranny..

what you need to do is show a pic of the trans on the ground with the axles in so we can see the problem.
