vzr lsd box onto uk spec p10?
hey there folks,

right i have an opportunity to get a vzr box and stick it onto my own car. it comes with the nearside cv joint but no shaft. my own shaft should fit into that cv if im not mistaken?

how about the offside? my p10 has a split shaft, but the vzr shaft is straight. will my split shaft fit into the vzr box does anyone know?

cheers

Does your P10 have an LSD gearbox? If not you will need a full nearside shaft from a LSD P10 as the shaft itself is shorter (along with the inner joint being longer they cancel out).

I have done it before on a P11, used the VZ-R inner CV on the nearside. You will be using your P10 split shaft on the offside and fits like a glove

See if your CV shaft slide in the VZ-R CV that came with the tranny.

Your shaft will put the outer CV too far out if your original fearbox was non-lsd. VZ-R shaft will be too short as they are smaller wheelbase as far as I know. Ideally you need P10 or P11 nearside LSD shaft to be sure of a perfect fit but there may be other combo's that work, I have not heard of any on the primera car club.
