So no gains at all?

Dynoed with IM with 3" pipe and JWT Pop Charger, gained 10whp over stock IM. No prolonged tuning as car blew radiator hose on dyno

Dynoed with 4" intake pipe and NO Velocity Stack Setup... no peak Gains . It held power better after 8krpm though! about 5whp held after peak than with 3" intake pipe setup, curve was smoother overall too.

Hardly worth it IMO. Craig just give in to the ITBs!

How about the low&mid range with the 4", did it stay the same? some graphs would be nice!!

i really don't think thats bad tbh, 10whp from the IM at first was good, the 4" intake and q45 was never gonna give much power. throttle response and like you say holding power a bit but i'd honestly be happy if i fitted an IM and got 10whp

I'm not even convinced ITBs would add much more, response yeh but meh

what IM was it? rough specs etc and your engine? 20ve with n1s?

thanks

The intake was a custom piece bought here from the forums (alexb13), based on the first half of the stock ve intake runners with velostacks installed (~6" runners + velo plate), will include pics in my dyno post...

my engine is typical n1 cams, bc springs, 4-1 header, 3" exh, cam gears, custom intake mani...

side view and mounting plate for q45 tb

Inside the manifold

before and after intake installation w/3" intake pipe... notice shift in peak power

Nice results for that manifold. Doesnt look like much work at all. Even upgrading to 4" was worth. Powerband came smoother and you gained back that dip in top end. Good work.
