Thread: any red flags or a thumbs up?

Nicks old white turbo ser is what made me fall in love with sr20s and turbo in general. funny enough he sold it to a kid threebyears ago and a bunch of parts of mine and a tranny ended up in it. Me and nick just got up last week, hadnt seen him in a few years.

its got a lot of miles on it but other than that its put together nice. I wonder why he did not do the front brakes.

Read the bottom of the listing. It said the motor will do 260-300hp na on a 2.0L if you get the head port n polish. I highly doubt that. Other than that everything looks good.

Nice car, but not a dime over $4500 IMHO. I'd be willing to bet it runs no more than 195 when you strap it to the dyno. I have an ASP header, JWT pop charger on a wai, Maxima maf, and a 3" catback (very similar mods) with a light flywheel and a B15 tranny on Kimme's NX and it posted a 192. Still, it will likely to be very fun to drive. Body looks fair to good, check the door jambs, rocker panels, and trunk towers for any signs of rust, especially if it has spent any time up North. I agree. I was selling my car at one point which was tuned and made 205whp. I was also including a direct port kit, leather seats, many accessories, 1 piece coilovers, aftermarket wheels/tires, etc. I was asking 4K. I don't mean to knock the guys car. It has some quality parts but imo its a little overpriced. Up to you though. Its hard to tell a car going by pictures.

Can't imagine that kind of hp he is stating with what installed...... More realistic @200-225 tops.. Thats a premium price for what you getting. It had better be rust free...... Would've went with a better clutch setup, though ..... It would not stand up to the 260+ hp he says its got
