any red flags or a thumbs up?
Fellas,

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on this car this weekend (been looking/waiting a long time now) and I think I'm going to buy this car. I value any opinions/suggestions about this car. Does it look like a good buy? Anything I should be leary of that I'm missing? Here are the details as written in the ad:

"Keep in mind that all of the parts that I will list below is less than 2000 miles.
The car should be good for about 200-220whp; (no knock, I use Blazt Nissan Datascan to datalog any knocks)
Chasis has 225k but is a very nice and clean example of a Sentra SE-R.
Engine
- JDM sr20ve <60k miles
- b13 LSD 5 speed tranny <90k
- VE 333cc Fuel Injectors
- SR20DE MAF regrounded
- Brand New N1 Cams special ordered from Nissan Dealership
- Brand New Calum Realtime ECU (Tuned it very conservatively) real time tunning is very cool.
- Brand New huge K&N filter (8" diameter towards the end of the filter by 6.5" length)
- Blox Velocity Stack for the intake (it actually made some good power, as I had to richen the tune up a bit after the installation)
- ASP 4-1 custom designed header built for the sr20ve motor(it is chrome ceramic coated and heat wraped)
- FULL stainless steel custom 3" side exit race exhaust (3"downpipe 3"magnaflow cat and magnaflow resonator)
- Brand New Exedy Stage 1 Racing Clutch
- Brand New Exedy Throw out bearing
- Brand New 11lbs. lightweight flywheel
- Brand New MSD RPM Digital Switch currently set the VVL to engage at 5200rpm.
- Prothane Motor mounts on all four points
Suspension
- full set of kyb agx adjustable struts
- hypercoil II springs (these are specially designed for the b13 chasis back in 2006 and are very rare, most people consider this the best track/daily setup)
- Suspension Techniques Front and Rear Sway Bar (all new red bushings)
- Front strut brace
- Rear strut brace w/triangulator
- This car is fully track ready. I've run this car against lancer evos and wrx's and it hangs all the way on the track. Very fun to drive.
Interior/Exterior
- Alpine cd/mp3 deck
- nice speakers all way round
- Autometer water and oil temp gauge
- AEM air/fuel ratio gauge(perfect with the calum RT for realtime adjusting of air fuel ratio)
- 94 front bumper
- full nice new 94 interior
- tool kit/spare tire included"

Again, I really appreciate your advice/opinions.

Danny

Sounds like this cat knew what he was doing and spent money where it mattered.

As long as you're happy with the body and realize that transmission may develop 5th gear pop-out at any time (unless the owner tells you they have applied the fix). It would be hard to value the car without seeing detailed pictures or in person but the mod list reads great.

pics
the car has had a respray, and from what I can tell it isn't the greatest body I've seen, but it is rust free... I thought it seemed like the right parts as well, and there are probably cleaner bodied cars, but I just can't get anybody to part with one!!!!! I prefer original paint and a really straight car, but they are getting harder and harder to find.....

BTW, Stratton, I looked at your nx (I've owned two) and if it had a little more creature comfort I would have tried to work something out! Oh, and I know Nick, almost bought a white se-r turbo from him years ago. Flew up but it didn't work out. We've stayed in touch from time to time though...

What do u want as far as creature comfort. The heat works, nice radio, this car was a non power, non abs, non ac car. The best options in my eyes. but i do understand what your saying.

Ohh and to boot this car will straight up anhilate the one ur looking at .

Oh I KNOW that!

A/C is critical down here in SC, and a back seat and full interior are just sort of mandatory for an old man like me...
