+1^ A definet must, your gonna have to be able to tune your timing map to make power with any N/A SR motor. Do you know of anyone locally in your area with a chip burner and or nistune? If so an AFC would kind of be a waste of money. Also if you were unsure about tuning this motor by yourself, there are some base maps you could download from this forum and the old forum to nistune which would definetly get you in the ball park. Nice thing about nistune is alot of nissan tuners use it and know it like the back of there hand, so you wouldnt be lost like alot of people who use AFC's

Get a Nistune unless you can find a Calum used. Why does this question come up once a week? Isn't there a sticky about the swap and hundreds of other threads between here and the uh other site, lol. Basiclly you want us to pick up a spoon and feed you speed like a baby. Not gonna happen, do some more research, tell us what you want out of your ve and what parts you decide on and we can help you get to your goal. That is your job.

Sweet thanks for all the help guys! i went with ordering a sr20ve with stock ve harness and ECU. im hoping this makes it easier. plus, to be honest, im flat broke haha and all that extra stuff was way outta my price range. for right now atleast. i still have a few things on the list to get it to run but im close. just waiting for the motor to get here. And no there is no one near my area(that i am aware of) that chips ECU's. i live in the sticks lol. and CaliKid, i actually made a 4 by 10in vinyl sticker that says VVL > Vtec HAHA. it sits nicely in my back window along with a rasta lion sticker i also made lol. if i knew how to add picks id show ya my progress.

As for totaled200ser. dude im 19 and not raised a gear head, i dont know everything yet, im doin mah best here. and its easier to talk it out with someone rather than reading possibly outdated information.

There's a Calum Basic for sale on the other board. Look for the member "Jano".

EDIT: It's from a Primera though...
