SR16ve N1 and ITBs?
A friend a mine doing a circuit car and aiming for about about 190-200hp out of his SR16ve N1.

He also wants the tq up so thinking of ITB?

Anyone knows of any links for this? ITB on Sr16/20ve

Size, type, of ITB? What type of standalone was used to tune it?

Power?

Thanks.

Now using a 30 degree angled adaptor plate and using E46 M3 throttles. Stand alone ECU used is a Dicktator, all made in South Africa.
I have a set of these sold to another member in the Carribian.
Adaptor plate $350
4x throttles $450
Derm is a dealer for Dicktator and would be able to Quote you on a price but I know they are extremely cheap and easy to setup.
I am busy with my 20V build and are using this setup.
Size of the M3 throttles are 50mm

I would think 50mm on 1600cc is overkill?
Maybe a 46mm would suit better.

Using the same 50mm itbs on my 2.2 motor

Its all about air speed. 16VE uses the same size valves as a 20VE
I still want to bore out these to 52mm for mine

Hi Gerry. Can you calculate load with a map at idle or is it too unstable so you have to go off tps?

Still busy with the build and haven't gave it a thought. Derm promised to send me a base map closer to time and will most probably in the near future fly over for a quick visit and some serious dyno time.

I think with my Link you can use a 4D mapping so it uses TPS around idle if necessary and MAP at higher rpm when the MAP is more stable but either way it would be interesting to hear what Derm does. I could be interested in a setup depending on what the total cost is compared to say the Xcessive inlet manifold as I've already invested in a computer that would run them.

Moles im using tps for my main table and MAP for 4d and air temp for 5d.

You have a link G4 plugin??

Sure do Dale. Only just getting it up and running atm. There's a lot to get your head around!
