I say 220-225 hp with a custom manifold and a real good tune is definitely possible.

Throw in some headwork and you should be right where you want to be.

Thanks for sharing. Dyno sheet?

230whp is doable with a stock intake mani. Whats holding you back is your lack of gas so inturn you cant run higher compression to compensate.

Can you get 230whp with a stock manifold? I thought that the stock IM can hold you back?

Would a 70mm TB be neccesary to get 230whp?

not doable on stock manifold( US figures are higher than the rest of the world:bigthumbup

210Hp is more like it! Even with 70mm!

Yes you can. But it will hold you back, keep in mind down the road you will want to upgrade the intake mani.

You are incorrect on both accounts.

Derm's Ve is making 200+ Hp at 9000 rpm still climbing. If im not mistaken its a sr18.

But he is running custom exhaust mani and 50mm ITB's

thats on a stingy dyno aswell

A standalone would really improve your chances of reaching your goals. Ben F had some massive gains on a stock DE with only a standalone.

Standalone, and ITB's FTW... fuck the Intake Mani off all together....
