I actually have all the dyno sheets from Kesi, me and a few others on the same dyno. I don't want to start a on going war on this shit again but I think some things just need to be put to rest. I'll post them all up and shed some light on them all.

I have all the back to back runs with actual numbers and will share some truth behind some of the numbers. I don't care about the drama at this point but I have learned alot about these dyno's over the years and want to educate ones who don't know.

Like i said i dont wanna start pissing match. Like jaimie said no need for the drama. 2 years ago everyone would have said 250 crank was impossible. Now look what we have done. Alot of you bench racers with your stock motors are hindering the progression of our community. I feel and know it can be done. I will prove it to the non believers this winter. Ill put it on the same dyno i dyno my car.

Stratton.

I dont think you should be commenting on the credability of some people posting in this thread.

5speed knows his stuff, and i work day in day out with this stuff. You have people here who have a LOT of knowledge and engineering backgrounds.

The biggest area our engines have to gain horsepower is the valves. Change the intake manifold, and your air flow speed will increase to the valves. Changing the intake manifold is a waste of time unless you have good port work with a well setup header.

Get back on the dyno!

Would a ported stock 2.0 mani work for something like this? Re-welded then ported is what I'm thinking.

^A member here has done this. I don't think the gains were that great for the work.

I had a ported stock IM on my stock motor and I made no more power than anyone else with the same mods as I had.

^Rob, do you ever rock N1's? I notice that you said you had the SR16VE(nonN1) cams and made like 203WHP.

I never got a chance to run true N1 cams. I made the most power with SR16 (non N1 cams) and yes it was 203 whp.

3" intake with POP Charger
Ported IM
Fuji Header
3" Exhaust
SR16 cams
SR16 flywheel
CS Cam Gears

Pretty basic set up tuned with a EMS Stinger 4424. But you know they say us FL boys don't have corrected #'s The car consistantly made 199-200, 201 202, 203 whp passes on a Dyno Jet.

The car also trapped a consistant 99-101 mph in the 1/4 mile. Gio had pretty much the same results with his car with a simillar set up.

I then sold the SR16 cams and the Fuji and installed a set of custom Grind cams from Charles and a Kesi Header and lets just say the car never ran the same. It slowed down and lost power big time.

Hence the sale of everything and on to my boost project. Time to make real power!
