I don't *think* you are going to reach your power goals.

*Seems like* all the VE's with your stated mods make between 195-205 whp.

I *think* you would have to 2.2 liter or bigger to hit 220+ whp.

Notice that I am clearly no expert, but I have read a bunch on VE's.

As for a mid-12 second pass, that is based on your horsepower to weight. Is your car stock, or stripped to the bone? 2400 pounds or closer to 2000 pounds?

I did 216whp with similar mods not too long ago.

I was around 12.8:1-13:1 in compression
Kelford cams
ASP 4-1
stock pullies
Stock intake manifold

I say 220-225 hp with a custom manifold and a real good tune is definitely possible.

Throw in some headwork and you should be right where you want to be.

No kidding?

Then just forget my previous post and go with this information.

He can go down to 12:1 or even run a meth kit activated by EGT or Vac.

Either way going from 13:1 to 12:1 will only cost you a few HP. Nothing big.
