Running Issue
Hey guys about 45mins ago I went to my car to start my usual work day. I started her up and let her breathe for about 1min while I did some other things in the car and then went to drive off. RPM's immediately dropped and she stalled. No biggy let me just start her up again...

I do so and when I gave her some gas to pull out of my spot she died out again. So I started her up again, pulled up the ebrake & left her in neutral, and then revved her up. She seems to have developed a skip and again as soon I go to move its like shes lost all of her power. I went into the engine bay to check things out...I went to pull the dipstick to check the fresh oil (swap and all fluids were done about a 1 1/2 weeks ago) and my finger touched the header a little bit which actually burned my finger! It hurts as im typing this. How the hell did the header get THAT hot in so little time.

Yesterday there were absolutely no problems with the motor and I only drove her around the parking lot to test the brakes (because I replaced the rotors, calipers, pads, and brake fluid).

I had to call out of work which my manager was not to happy about so now I have a whole day to figure this thing out. What's wrong with it?

Mind you I developed a power steering leak last week and there is no fluid left at all.

Start with the obvious. Not insulting your intelligence,but....do you have gas?
Will it start and idle until you go to move it or will it die just sitting there idling?

IM INSULTED! just kidding but I have a FULL tank of gas. It'll idle under its own power for a little and then sputter and die out. And anytime I go to move it you can forget about it.

Seems like a fuel problem to me.Like maybe the fuel pump is dying.

Did you change the fuel filter when the swap was done?It may be clogged.

I changed it before the swap was done on the DE so no I didn't. I'll check into that. Do you think a bad o2 sensor could be the culprit too?

pull the codes off the ECU to see what you get.
The O2 will throw a code if thats the issue. If there is another code thrown,it may point you in the right direction.
