Sort of. It just makes sense to me to go with the 8cw crank vs the 4cw. I already have the Tomei rods which are lighter and stronger than stock. The better crank with all new bearings and rods means I'll have a solid bottom end. If I am already there, it makes sense to go with the N1 pistons and new rings. I already have a worked head and intake. I have a set of N1's in it now and I have a set of 20v's in my possession. I can play around and find the best combination for the most power from 4/5k-8k and it will be plenty of fun on the track. It may not make the most power, but I'm not that guy anyway. I just want to have fun and I'd like to do it with out breaking the bank. The only parts not in my possession are the pistons and I will be way ahead even buying those after selling the crank.

How is the 8cw better than the 4cw? Its only apparent advantage is the (allegedly) better vibration dampening?

Its much heavier, and has more windage.

Happy do it. Its all speculation at the end of the day. The motor might love it. make huge numbers and be a fn rip to drive.

Get some custom 12:5:1 pistons made up. Throw in your tomeis and asemble. But either way ur gonna wanna rebore so go to 87mm.

Until you or some one else does it no one will know for 100%.

Stratton.

I am going to sell the crank, I am pretty sure I have a buyer. If not, I've already gotten several pm's in the last hour of people waiting to buy it. Out of that sale I'll have enough to buy the pistons and set aside money for other projects.

I would kill for that crank. My funds say otherwise, lol.

He already has one, but he knows 2 things:
1.) How rare and hard to get your hands on these cranks are.
2.) How much they cost new - in this case $1650 plus shipping from Mazworx.

The person buying mine will get a brand new in the box crank for a significant savings.
