Just curious, what crank pulley are you running?

use de forged pistons. or less cr.

2.4 is good for a vagon, not for the racecar. 92 crank will make you rev max to 7k. there is no life before 7k but a great daily driver imho.

Your 92 likes best oil, best race bearings (with extra clearance) and etc. so it is a nasty engine. imho.

Um, he will have MORE clearance with the N1 pistons.

And if he uses any de pistons, the valves will hit

that's what I was thinking, I thought the N1 pistons were notched for more clearance.. but I am far from an expert so I didn't comment..

sorry. I thought if the n1 piston has more cr - it has less clearance.

what haven't you understood in my post?
You have low budget not me.
the 92mm crank makes much more pressure to the main and even rod bearings. (cause of the smaller r/s). I shouldn't rev such engine more than 7k as a daily driver. It has more low end torque. But the rods will be too heavy to rev it safely past 7k (NA).

The N1 pistons do go higher into the chamber, but thy have notches on top of the piston so the valves don't hit.

Oh, and a long stroke at 7k rpm's has a much higher piston speed than a short stroke at the same rpm... Think about it...

Short stroke from a SR16 at 9k would be less wear and tear than the 92mm crank at 7k...

I think that sr16ve is not a driveable engine. I suggest sr16 was designed to be a vet.
