VVL and Rev Cut Problem
I need help guys. A little background first, I have a 1992 B13 Sentra. Had an engine swap with a SR20VE 1997 (CVT Tranny). Converted it to 5-speed manual. Had my VE ECU rechipped specifically for N1 set-up. Now there's NO VVL and rev cuts at 7.2-7.5 rpm thou its supposed to rev up to 8.3trpm. Had my Wiring harness and solenoid checked today and its all working properly. We tried another STOCK VE ECU just to make sure if its the rechipped ecu that is not working but even the STOCK ECU has no VVL.
Most of the tuners here in the Philippines use either MSS or Summit. No one has ever tried using rechipped ECU with lower VVL points except me and no one can diagnose the problem.
Anybody here who can help me or suggest something? someone said I must use Electronic VSS, does it a have connection with the VVL? was the rechipped ECU faulty? Was it a wiring problem?
Its really a pain having a VE without the VVL.
