Utilizing Highport CAI after VVL install
Is there a way to still incorporate my AEM Highport CAI after install of VVl ? I know it's a lowport configuration, but I thought maybe a different upper section would still allow me to couple with the lower portion ?

I sold mine after going VE because from the general concensus it seems a WAI 6" long at 3" wide with an n60/e60 maf is the better way to go - VE's aren't huge fans of CAIs as they like to breath more - less restriction with less piping.

I used the one section of a highport aem intake for 2-3 weeks but swapped it out for a hotshot intake for a lowport SR20DE. That worked much better and it didn't cost me anything once I sold the aem off.

look at you whoring off your intake. lol

the aem pipe will put your filter a lot closer to the battery than that one.

hehe i was just thinkin.. im such a whore..

i kinda wanna change it up a bit, i dont like how it bends really an i think it should be alot straighter.. been eye ballin them plastic doit your self intake setups for a while.. cause these aluminum / metal ones get to hot..

im gonna make some shit some how that takes air from behind the bumper an run it up to infront of the filter..

uh wherever its supposed to? IIRC I ran the wiring ran up the back of the motor in between two of the intake manifold runners and swapped the one half so I didnt chop the harness. You can see the one connector under the throttle cable.
