Pulsar VZR N1 owner.. need some info and help
Pulsar VZR N1

need some clarification

1) What is your ECU code ?

2) Do your MAF code same with 16VE ? i know the housing is different but not sure the sensor itself

3) Gearbox.. Hydraulic type ?
gear ratio same with SR16VE ?
Standard come with Nismo LSD or Viscous LSD ?

Thank you

Might be more question soon

The N1 ECU is pinned differently and has a completely different board in it.

The Sensor in the MAF is different as well as the aluminum housing.

The gearbox is hydralic type with same ratio as standard SR16VE and has standard viscous LSD.

Can you post a pic of the tranny side of the motor please. Looking down by the distributer onto the top of the tranny. A few diffrent angles would be nice.

I think the N1 came both Hydralic and cable. I am not sure if it a year diffrence or what.

Stock Ecu: 23710-2N510 for models build on 1997/09-1998/12
Stock Ecu: 23710-2N560 for models build after 1998/12
Both are interchangeable with latest part no 2371M-2N510 & 2371M-2N560

Mine has an extra daughterboard for tuning but if you open the top cover and see those 8 black things on top then you certainly have a N1 ecu

MAF is unique for SR16VE.N1 (80mm straight-through)
part number remains the same till nowadays 22680-2N500

All N1 were hydraulic and I think this was the main difference between the standard SR16VE transmission.

Nismo LSD and Nismo transmission could be found on race versions but these were not sold on general public. Along with all the rest of the race parts: driveshafts, camshafts, pistons, cam gears, oil cooler etc.

and ECU need to comfirm it N1 as well

Oh yea.. those interested
you can swap the cable type to hydraulic type

i have a friend done this
it just take a Malaysian N16 (QG16) Manual gearbox which is hydraulic
take out SR16VE cable and put the hydraulic kit on it
voila
those cable user need to do fit the pump and the hose only
