how can SR20VE 20v pistons be 11:1 in a 2.0 and the 1.6.. SR16VE pistons are 11:1 in the 1.6 and 13:1 in the 2.0..

They have the same chamber volume. The piston crown is what is different.

yeah but theres 400cc difference so you not compressing as much air.. so compression drops in the 1.6

SR20VE 20v pistons would be like 9:1 in an SR16VE

Are you stroking it or not? I am getting more confused now, I'll leave this one alone.

The first post is clear, he is talking about a 20VE, 2.0lts, 1998cc, SR16VE "stroked" to SR20VE with SR20VE crank..........

Where is the proof? I have always heard 10.3:1. A website also showed me 11:1

are they 11:1?

Raceworxs what kind of gas do you have where you live? I have SR16 pistons in my SR20VE. If you live some place where they have 92 octane pump gas you can prob get away with it better. We only have 91 out here so I had to do some major ignition map tuning to get it run without pinging.

your 95 is about my 91 so 97 would be a little better to run but 99 should make it very nice to drive and you can keep more timing in the low end vs on 95ron. This also makes the amount you pay per tank go up a lil lol.
