Guys. He is stroking his sr16 it sounds like. So if he keeps those pistons he will have high 12:1 cr. That is why he is going w a diff piston.

Id say just go with a std 2.0 ve piston. Wil work good for both na and boost. The jump from 10-12:1 cr isn't anything crazy. Its like 10whp.....

yeah im stroking my SR16 t 2.0.. was going to keep the 16VE pistons for 13.2:1 and notch them but that limits my fuel.. so was thinking some 11:1 pistons for now then a mild tubo next year.. i want 200WHP from my current build..

OEM SR20VE pistons are 10.4:1 compression ratio.

20V pistons are 11:1 compression ratio.

If he has an SR16, then he will get 11.0:1 compression ratio....

Sell the sr16 pistons then and pick up some sr20ve pistons. Use the extra money towards some squeeze

Thats not right. SR20VE + SR16VE pistons is like 13+ CR.

I think you should decide if you want to be NA or Turbo. If you want track car i would definately keep it NA.

Cory said he has an SR16 engine.

SR20VE 20V pistons in an SR16 engine will be 11.0:1 compression ratio.
