Billet 70mm TB, first batch arrived!
Here are some pics of the first working batch of the 70mm VE throttle bodies.

Will update later in the week with more clearer pics and back to back dyno results.

Price is estimated to be 260USD. Polished billet aluminium.

This TB looks like a nice pc, but one 70MM TB will not work any better than the next. For the masses this TB will not have the cold start valve on it so there will be cold starting idle issues also

They sell some billet TBs on ebay just like that one. $225 shipped and $200 shipped

The obx ones arent as good build quality. They run a smaller centre shaft.

The other link that you posted is for Honda engines, these have been made specifically for the SR bolt pattern.

Factory heat up control can be worked around by stepping up the ignition advance on cold idle.

70mm is 70mm. But when it comes down to 440usd for a genuine N1 vs 260usd, theres a bit of a difference.

The OBX one with the smaller center shaft will flow more because of less area. I have seen this OBX TB eun on a few cars with no problems at 25 PSI of boost so on NA there will be no problem either

You can get N1 Tbs for $350 right here in the USA.

The bolt pattern of a TB has nothing to do with it when 90% of these TBs will be run on aftermarket intake manifolds.

here is a direct bolt on one for $180

here are some more in the $100 range.

Andreas, thanks for your input.

However. This is the product i have to offer. I can offer it at a better price than an OEM throttle, and i can offer it with better build quality than any OBX or other throttles out there on the market.

I dont care for universal throttles that need to be welded on or generic bolt spacings for custom manifolds. I am offering this product because i know i would be confident using this on my race engine, as i know the throttle shaft will not snap, nor will the plate screws fall out.

This TB will accept all range of nissan SR TPS sensors. Hence the dual slots.

It has a tapered (very slight) ID, and also has a billet throttle. Wall dimensions and overall OD of the throttle is a copy of factory design, so intake tubing and pipework will have no issues.

If you can design a better product, for the price and supply it, go ahead and make your own thread. Its a shame your attitude is to shoot something down as soon as you can. Im quite sure if Mazworx or Gspec offered these you would jump on the bandwagon.

First off, if you are going to post something for sale, put it in the right sectuion which is the For Sale Section. You put it in this section it is open for comments or discussion whether you like it or not.

Not sure where the Mazworx or GSpec comment came from, I am not effiliated with any of these companies but I do buy their product that I like and if I dont like them I dont buy them.

Example below.

Its funny you make a comment as such as I think the Mazworx flywheel for the 6 speed tranny is not up to par but I guess you missed that. Link below

http://www.sr20-forum.com/general-sr20/35449-20v-transmission-6-speed-flywheels.html

Thats why we are having a proper 6 speed aluminum flywheel made that will be for sale sometime next week.

Mazwork makes the best and only 92mm headgasket. ( props to them ) which allows us to run 92mm pistons.

Lastly, if a person cant make a comment on a product and has to kiss ass just because some else likes it or is involved in it them, I then say ( Fidel Castro )

I am a big JWT fan but if they make crap I speak my mind. ( link above shows that to ) When you are scared to speak your mind on a product just to kiss ass then..........

Whats so funny also, there is no place where I said I did not like the product. All I said there are cheaper ones that can be had for alot less if someone goes that route.

Makes me wounder.
