This is the reason Miko wanted a custom cam with the 20v low and the N1 highs.

Yes that's true, but there not going to help at the strip, so for a lot of ppl it will be a waste of time. I could care less about my power below 6k. I wouldn't spend more money to get rid of a cam I have to get a new one that will make the same top end. Ofcourse for the road course guys it might be worth while

Well, really for the drag the hi lobe is what matters but on the street the low cam is fun so I think that is where the idea of 20V low and N1 hi comes from: anyway it will be just an N1 cam at high rpms

Are you guys completely missing the entire point of variable cam lift? It is designed to retain low end torque and nothing else?

With n1 cams you will lose absolutely no low end what. so. ever. That is what vvl is designed to do.

The N1 cams having the same low profile as the stock cams means you only will see gains up top, because that is the only point at which you will see change in efficiency.

Yes it will "raise" your peak power, but you will not lose anything at all below the switch point.

If you do, there is something else wrong.

you show some people facts, measurements, and specifications yet they want to come up with conclusions based on speculation and personal theory.

I just do not understand it. These numbers cannot lie, cheat, or deceive like people can.

N1 cams are pretty fucking good compared to stock 20VE cams. The low lift duration on the exhaust side is slightly larger which only helps scavenge gases out of the engine faster.
